The idea: merge two things in some natural or logical way. The object was placed dynamically into the frame, floating in a void of gray, so that the positive shape activates the surrounding negative space. The result is a surreal drawing of an imaginary object produced by ‘grafting’ two different objects, each of which were drawn cohesively enough to appear credible.

The synergy created is humorous, completely unexpected, and results in a statement: female health, whether physical, psychological, or emotional, is often sacrificed in exchange for beauty.
